[Xgrid] Trouble Setting up Open Directory for Xgrid

Hi all,

First let me say that I am by no means an expert in Mac OSX, just a engineering graduate student trying to setup an Xgrid system for my adviser to be used by my research group.  My research group has several Mac Pros, a couple of iMacs, and a token miniMac.  All of our machines either run OS10.5 or OS10.6 (might have one 10.4 machine).  We have one Mac Pro with Server 10.5 installed on it (this is the machine that I want to be the controller).

Since I didn't know any better, I first tried setting up the controller without setting up the server itself.  I saw that I had to create an open directory.  So following instructions I found here:http://www.computerworld.com/s/article/9019898/Hands_on_Setting_up_Mac_OS_X_Open_Directory I began trying to setup my Open Directory.  At the very end of the Service Configuration Assistant steps I get a message stating: "This server has not been configured as an Open Directory Master.  Error has Occured! Error Value 73".  What does this mean?  Am I doing things out of order?  Any help with this and what is to come would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.
