Thanks for your note.  I guess I was thrown off with both MDC's showing 2
volumes listed even though I only have one SAN volume...  Is that odd?
Yes, I am using a private network : FireWire-800 with IP connecting both
directly; it seems to work just as well as connecting GigE between the two).
