Bert,
The output of cvadmin is really a list of controllers that correspond to the
volumes. If you had 3 controllers you would see three entries. You are in
trouble if your controllers can not agree who is actually in charge of the
volume or if you see a different number of controllers on each host.
The firewire metadata network should be fine until you need to grow past 2
nodes.
