Uninstalling xsan

I'm trying to uninstall a 1.2 version of Xsan on 10.4.5. The only uninstall pakage I have is the one that came with my Xsan disc. When I run that I get an error that it only works for version 10.3.6 or better.

Is there a simple way to uninstall a current version, like a newer uninstall package or a set of shell commands that will wipe everything? Will whacking /Library/Filesystems/Xsan do the trick.

I basically need to do a fresh install, hopefully without having to reinstall my system.
