Re: After Effects & Xsan experiences

Aaron,

I can't speak to the effectiveness (or not) of Qmaster, but we use RUSH for render queueing Shake and Maya. I know there's support for After Effects too. RUSH is great app (runs on OSX/Linux/Windows). The submit script double-clickable app works well with our Macs (G5s) and the render farm (Xserve G5s), all on Xsan.

RUSH site:

And list of submit-scripts here: http://seriss.com/rush-current/ #SubmitScripts

Have any of you worked with After Effects on Xsan? I'm looking for two things:

	- How's the performance running directly off the SAN?
	- Has anyone been successful using Qmaster for AE rendering on Xsan?

Thanks,
