fail over script ??

What is the 'fail over script' ?
Do you know about that?
 
There are two MDC (primary & stand-by),
and for some reason (I don't know exactly why) MDC fail over was occured.
During fail-over completion, Xsan volume stopped about 3 minutes.
There's no hardware problem!!
Is there anyone who experienced similar problem?
 
 
The following are a part of logs of stand-by MDC.
 
[0217 11:51:23.016526] 0xa000ed68  (Debug) Cannot find fail over script [/Library/Filesystems/Xsan/bin/cvfail.192.168.1.41] - looking for generic script.
[0217 11:51:23] 0xa000ed68  (Info) Launching fail over script [/Library/Filesystems/Xsan/bin/cvfail 192.168.1.41 49164 XsanVol]
