I guess the search is trying to use MetaData to find this kind of
document, these MetaData are searched through Spotlight. Xsan, as of
today's version 1.2, is incompatible with Spotlight. Search for a name,
it should work.

Mmmm, maybe Foxtrot but I didn't test, and of course validate, on Xsan,
especially I don't know how heavy can be the load for the MDC.
