The error I'm getting is: "Data Plugin Failed to restore" And "/
Volumes/Blah/fileFailed to restore affinity"
Using OSX 10.4.5 and NVAdmin v.7.3.1 build 17 and Xsan 1.2
Just for the record the file will restore if I tell it to restore it
from tape to my local hard drive, but not to Xsan.

Impossible to know without knowing exactly what error is being
returned to the application.
I suggest calling AppleCare, for starters.
