Re: Leopard Server licenses for MDC

Unlimited users license implies the unlimited number of clients connected to the server for file sharing through AFP, NFS, SMB or FTP. Metadata control is a different type of service. So, you can use a 10- user license for MDC.

We are putting together a quote for upgrading an XSan to version 2.0. The client is running a separate server as OD master. Do the Leopard server licenses on the MDCs need to be unlimited users or can we use ten use licenses?
