Re: One SP with Xsan 2?

Hi,

I have Xsan 2. I need to mount a single volume with a single Storage Pool and I haven“t been able to do it because all configurations give me a minimum of two SP.

Does anyone know how to leave a single SP? Is it possible to create a single storage pool with Xsan 2? I know this is not a common scenario and far from recommended but this is what I need.

Yesterday, I created an Xsan 1.4.2 SAN with a single storage pool (4x 250GB drives in RAID5) and a single metadata pool (2x 250GB drives in RAID1) that made up a single volume. I then upgraded that to Xsan 2.0 and didn't have any problems? I haven't tried a "fresh install" of Xsan 2.0, however.

Please help.

Sistema.
