Apple Copper Fibre Channel Cables

I was performing some configuration on my QLogic 5602s and noticed some discrepancies in the speeds of my Apple copper fibre channel cables. Specifically I have a variety of new (some *brand* new) 2GB rated cables plugged in that are showing up with media speeds rated at 400MBytes/second. The older 2GB cables only show up as 200MBytes/ second, as I would expect. Most of these are plugged into Xserve RAIDs and older Xserve G5s, thus they are running at the 2GB rated speed. However, for some temporary reorganization I have one of my Active Storage cabinets connected with these 2GB cables. Since everything is currently set to auto for the relevant ports, I had assumed it would downgrade itself to 2GB, but to my surprise it is connected at 4GB.

So my question is, will this be problematic and thus should I manually set the ports to be 2GB or have I simply been lucky enough to get some 4GB cables for a 2GB price?

FWIW, the media part number and revision of the 2GB cables are all the same according to the switches (73929-0074 revision D). My actual 4GB cables report themselves as 74743-0021 revision A.
