ACL Problems

We've been having this ongoing problem with our Xsan where on certain machines the ACLs will just stop working. When I do "ls -lde /Volumes/TheVault" (TheVault is our SAN Volume), I can see the ACLs, but instead of having the actual team names, it has what appears to be a Windows GUID (FFFFEEEE-DDDD-CCCC-BBBB-AAAA82000400).

I've tried 3 different methods to fix this and they each work at random times and there's no consistency to it:
- rebinding the computers to the Active Directory
- repair permissions from the Xsan Admin
- remove and readd the computer to the Xsan

There's nothing in the logs that look abnormal when it happens. Any ideas or things I should look for that might narrow down what the problem could be?

Our configuration is:
  • Xsan 2.2.1
  • 10.6.4
  • 2 x Intel Xserves MDCs, one of the Xserves is resharing the volume over AFP.
  • 4 x Mac Pros running 2.2.1
Thanks,
Jason
