Title: RE: [Fed-Talk] Re: Use of CAC cards and Virtual PC
Wade,
It works well for me. DTS is about the only thing for which I have to use Virtual PC, although I also periodically use it for NMCI Webmail and other sites that require CAC. Using the CAC on VPC does make things even a bit slower than normal - it'll be nice to be able to use Boot Camp or Parallels some day.
My SOP to get things to work correctly is to remove my CAC reader from the Mac before launching VPC and then to plug it back in once VPC is running so that it correctly captures the card instead of the Mac. You also need to make sure you have the SCR driver on Windows for your card reader. My set-up: OS X 10.4.6, VPC 6 running Windows 2000.

Good evening:
Has anyone had experience trying to get the SCR331 card reader to work with
Virtual PC? I support some users that require the use of the application in
order to use software that is not written for Mac like Formflow. Also
websites like DTS will not work with browsers other than IE 6. Any
suggestions?
