Since it's still the SCM STC II chip in there, it should work just fine.
And SCM is getting better about CCID compliance, so the CCID driver
should work.
However, that's an ExpressCard/54 card (54mm wide). MacBooks have an
ExpressCard/34 card slot (34mm wide). The ExpressCard bus is designed
so that /34 cards work in /54 slots (because the pins for both only need
34mm of space), but vice-versa is a ... physical limitation. :)
Simply put, ExpressCard slots are 75mm deep, no matter how wide they
are. It simply won't fit.
