How do I uninstall CAC functions?
Background.
1. I am running OS 10.3.9
2. I downloaded and installed common access card viewer
3. I downloaded and installed package for ActivCard usb reader. This is the reader I have. I was following the guidance in Shawn Geddis' Set up Guide v1.0.
4. I used cac_setup -d in terminal to enable smart card services
Problem
1. The Smart Card Login Window appears, but CAC is not recognized
2. I know it is a good card because it works on pc
3.I tried to turn smart card services off by using command cac_setup -off. I receive this message
cac_setup -off
* /etc/authorization.orig exists and /etc/authorization
does not seem to be a symlink--this is an unfamiliar
configuration, bailing
I want to start over, perhaps with SCR331 or other usb reader.
Thank you.
Tom Snyder
