Yes. This is another poke in the eye by the well intentioned Good Idea Fairy's wand.  Steve dramatically cut the wire to the tethering computer but not to the WiFi router.  We're just given an electric fence like a dog instead of a visible chain.

ALOT of people over wifi and DSL in areas that have trouble handling it now downloading a LOT of BIG software files.  Sounds like a fail to me.
