I'm considering this issue as a Leopard user. If from a license perspective,
having to pay $60 ($30 or the Leopard->Snow Leopard upgrade, then another
$30 for the Snow Leopard->Lion upgrade) instead of $30, that's not a big
deal. But if the Mac App store is the only distribution method, then to
upgrade I'd have to actually perform both upgrades to catch up (install Snow
Leopard and updates, install Mac App Store, then download and install Lion)
rather than being able to skip straight to Lion.
