Sounds reasonable but if Server is not intended to be a major item by Apple (anymore), they should have folded it into the Client pages and addressed it for the typical Client user. They also haven't addressed any upgrade path for Leopard users.

If they require SL server, then you have a problem but you'd have a problem anyway because once you install Lion client, your SL server installation is gone. This is why I think Apple said the wrong thing on their website. With the beta, I can redeem both the Lion Client and Server codes from a non-server installation. I can't (still) install Client with Server checked, at least not to a different disk. I have to install Client first, then install Server. Since SL server was never sold through the App Store, there's no way for Apple to check serial numbers so I'm thinking Apple will clean up their wording and say Lion Client and Server can be installed on applicable computers without having to be running SL or SL server.
