It is trivial to build an installer disk for Lion. Did it last nite and installed Lion Server.
In my case I built a DVD and then for grins partitioned a hard disk and made a partition an installer disk. Used the installer partition on the external FireWire 800 disk and the install took 30 minutes including the elements the installer wanted to get from the web.
Will likely partition a USB thumb drive and use one partition as an installer for Lion. Needs slightly over 4GB if I recall correctly.

Once redeemed, this code will download the Lion installer; from there, you can copy the installer to a disk, flash drive, networked drive—you name it—to transfer it over to another system.
