Hi,
There seems to be a lot of good information here and
elsewhere about developing accessible iPhone applications, but I haven't found
much out there on Web apps.
I'm having a problem where a widget displays a prompt
"was this answer helpful?” Plus a “yes” and a “no”
button.
After the user chooses a response the yes and no buttons
disappear, leaving a message “thanks for your feedback"
Voiceover seems to be unaware of the change however, because
as you use left/right swipes to explore the area, it still reads the yes and no
buttons even though they're no longer on the page visually.
How can a Web app notify voiceover that content on the page
has changed?
I just noticed that if you opt to hover (with your finger ) over
the area that has changed, voiceover does get the updated content, but is that common
for a blind iPhone user to do? I think I'm just doing it because I'm a sighted developer.
Thanks,
Dallas
