As I understand it AXMakeProcessTrusted() can't be used with an application that has embedded frameworks, I have tried it and it failed.
I've been told it was based on security concerns relating to the @executable string that goes into an application and its embedded frameworks. This would then require using an installer to place the needed frameworks in /Library/Frameworks, abandoning any hopes for a drag installed app.
It seems that this limitation regarding embedded frameworks is still in effect, or am I not doing something correctly? It would seem that code signing should address the security concerns.

Jeff
