I presume "loswer" means "lower", and "MAC" is supposed to mean Mac OS X? Because none of the meanings for this acronym I found make much sense to me in this context (and I checked http://www.acronymfinder.com/MAC.html)?
I.e. you want to use features in CoreServices that were added on later Mac OS X versions, but you want your application to gracefully just turn off use of those features when running under older Mac OS X releases? In that case, a better solution would probably be to weak-link the CoreServices framework.
