As far as I know, there is no way for voiceover users to tell what the text atributes are. It could be that with later versions of snowleopard, this has been fixed, but if it can't be done with vo functions, you're probably not going to have any luck either. If you do manage to get this working though, I'd suggest releasing a utility that does just this, one that vo users can use to determine what attributes highlighted text has, since (to my knowledge) no such function exists for voice over users at the current time. Of course, Ihave been known to be wrong, but if there is a method, I don't know what it is.
