You're on the right track with all the parameterized attribute functions you cited. It isn't obvious how to use them, but you can get some ideas from these two sources:
1. My UI Browser product < http://pfiddlesoft.com/uibrowser> exposes the values of all of the parameterized text attributes in any application's text field or text view. The application's Help book (Help > UI Browser Help) has a section that gives a limited explanation of these attributes.
2. My PFAssistive Framework < http://pfiddlesoft.com/frameworks> contains detailed documentation that you can download. The documentation includes some information about how to use the parameterized attribute functions. (My framework wraps the accessibility API functions in Cocoa methods.) |
