Hi,
I have found this too.
The following post from a lister on another list explains a sinario that I have experienced.
This seems to be a failure of VoiceOver arbitration.
The only work around I have found is to change the system voice in System Preferences and the voice used by Growl, depending if the pormpt is a system prompt such as the VoiceOver Time script or a Growl message.
I have found that this work around is inconsistant.
BEGIN MESSAGE:
Listers whenever I get an alert like "your batch processing is complete" or something like that it speaks slow and then voice over crashes. Can someone tell me how I can prevent this from happening? This is pretty much every time it gets an alert that speaks. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MacVisionaries" group.
