That's rather amazing news. Thank you, Rob. And congratulations, Chris E.
and Chuq.

Can we now begin to look forward to a solution to the mangled
characters-problem? As I recall, the solution was eventually going to be
coming in the form of of rich-text enabling as soon as some security
loopholes involved in doing so could be plugged. And searchable archives
were to come first. Would rich-text enabling be visible on the horizon now?
