Acrobat "print pages"

Has anyone successfully used the Acrobat "print pages" command?
I have tried:
print pages window 1 -- "window 1 does not understand the print pages command"
print pages PDF window 1 -- ditto
print pages FileAlias --
And if I just use "print" it gets passed to the Finder (presumably
because Acrobat doesn't understand this keyword).
