G’day Rob.
My apologies, I missed your message. My App collects all my incoming Mail while it’s running, and if no Attachments are in the message, moves them to an ‘items for manual printing’ mailbox. I’ve missed a few incoming emails because of it.
In answer to your question, I have zilch ASObjC skills, and a deadline to meet, so haven’t time to learn now.
As well, I have now got three scripts in my main App, with over 90 properties. In addition, following Shane’s advice, I’ve created a separate second App (3024 lines) that does preliminary processing of each email and its attachments.
I have to make sure my App is bullet proof, as it runs 24/365, and the last Lion version ran 6 months without being re-started.
I only need to build for 10.10.
My biggest problem now that is stopping my finalisation of my App, is that three single column tables that need to have direct user input, are not accepting any input of any sort. Shanes helping me offlist with it.
Regards
Santa

I have converted most of my “megalith" (Shane) apps to OBJc apps but my big one is still an ASOC app and has several scripts, the main one being close to 4000 now, through accretion. I don’t have the time to convert but am now thinking I can at least move chunks over to OBJc classes and eventually have enough on that side to build a new app.
