We've decided to jazz things up with a healthy dose of fun with a 2002
review and Mac quiz show planned for BeiMac (Beijing Mac User Group)'s
December 2002 meeting, after a successful Nov. meeting.
We found that it was difficult to get questions that were equal to both the
new and advanced users. We did a web search for FAQ's (Frequently Asked
Questions). That way we had both a question and an answer. With the great
available of FAQ topics, you can find questions on the Mac, networking, Mac
history, Mac applications, Mac tips and much more.
We went around the room asking a members the questions. If he or she didn't
have the answer they can make up an answer. For example, what color is the
Apple Logo. Answer purple. If someone challenges the answer and are correct,
they get the point. If no one challenges the answer then the person that
answered the question gets the point and the questioner tells the group the
correct answer. This gives everyone the opportunity to be part of the quiz
rather than a small group of very knowledgeable people. We sometimes reward
the winner of the question a piece of chocolate or hard candy.
You could also do a web search on "trivia" and use these questions along with
the Mac or computer questions.
A lot depends on the personality of the questioner. You will need a good
suply of questions. Good luck.
