I have a 333mhz Lombard PowerBook G3, have been using OS X since

constantly had problems with printing.
I had some oddball problems on my TiBook upgrading from 10.1.5 to
Jaguar. I never realized the performance gains raved about, and also
had odd problems connecting to my printer (Epson Stylus Color 777).
To make a long story short, in the end I ended up having to reformat
and reinstall Jaguar over a blank hard disk to realize the performance
benefits and stable printing. No doubt, Jaguar is fast. But I have
realized reduced system reliability under Jaguar. It locks up, not
quite as often as Windows, but far more often than OpenBSD or Linux.
At *least* once per week. Not a hard lock-up (the mouse moves). But
finder locks up and what good is the computer if finder is locked up.
I just get a spinning CD-ROM image and can't do a force quit or
anything. By the way, I'm running 10.2.1 with all the updates.
