I've debated on mentioned this, but I have an Access Database that I
have created and actually am still working on. It keeps track of our
members, let's me do personalized emails to the entire group, i'm in
the process of integrating an online forum section where members and
non-members can post. Members can login and get member only deals,
access to our guru list, and change their mailing address and
Newsletter preference PDF or snail mail.
The website design is not in the best of shape right now, and I'm going
to be changing the look and feel soon. To much like Apple's site right
now.
The catch is, it's an Access DB, and all coded in ASP. Please no
flames, I know it's not FMP, or mySQL running on an Apple box. But ASP
is what I code in at work, and it's what I use. If someone wants it,
needs a place to host it, or even wants to help me enhance it for the
MUGS let me know. I'll share my code base with you and we'll see if we
can make a great "Canned" solution for the MUGs.
