"YOU DON'T KNOW MAC" ON THE USER GROUP REPORT
The new edition of The User Group Report features an interview with Steve
Welsh, Founder and Director of "You Don't Know Mac." In its fourth year,
"You Don't Know Mac" is billed as the annual state-wide Mac trivia
contest, but it is much more than that. Steve and his team have created a
regional event that encourages involvement by all the Macintosh User
Groups in Oregon, features celebrity guests and includes a MUG Leaders'
Summit. Steve talks about how YDKM is organized, announces this year's
guest host, how they involve both local and national vendors in the
event, how the contest is organized and why he hopes it will inspire
other MUGs to organize similar events.

Hosted by Chuck Joiner, the User Group Report is the series of audio
interviews with people making news in the user group community.

PRINCETON MACINTOSH USER GROUP PRESENTS "MAC DINNER x.3, XIII - TIGER
STEPS OUT"
The Princeton Macintosh Users Group will host Mac Dinner x.3, XIII -
Tiger Steps Out on October 29. You may know the fun folks from PMUG from
their very orange presence and booth at Macworld Expo in New York.
They're at it again, this time inviting attendees to dress as their
favorite Mac-related technologies. (We didn't understand it either until
we read an example: A shield covered with floppies & 'coasters'? Disk
Warrior.) Details are available on The MUG Event Calendar, or visit the
PMUG web site to register.
