As a matter of fact, our IIsi who was running the web server has gone
down a while ago and we are trying to raise funds to buy a new server
machine. Anyone to chip in ? ;-)
Sorry for the inconvenience of the web server; but our life form is mosty
mailing list based except a few quarterly gatherings in the three large
cities: Ankara, Istanbul and Izmir. However, when we started in Ankara
back then, we were meeting more than enough. After the core group moved
to different parts of the world (I am in Paris, France for example;
another prominent member is somewhere in the UK), we decided to go
online. Today the list has an average traffic of 30 msgs/day (except
unnecessary/redundant stuff). Actually, the web site is just having a
little introductory part and then it's keeping the links to useful
shareware stuff and member-developed freeware (i.e. excel templates to
fill in tax forms, Turkish language patches to different OSs and apps);
an habit from the days of the disk-of-the-month.
I'll keep you posted when our web server goes online again.
Thanks,
tuNg

Do not post admin requests to the list. They will be ignored.
