To tell you the truth I wouldn't miss Apple that much at the
MacWorld. I can go to my local dealer and see the Apple stuff. I go
to MacWorld to see all the other people who do not have a local
presence. In the past 15 years of going to MacWorlds in Boston and NY
I think I have spent no more than 5 hours at the Apple booth in
total. I like all the other stuff that is there. I especially like
the small vendors that you find in the back corners. They seem to be
the ones that are the most innovative. There were more of them in
Boston than in NY so I would be happy with that.
I know that for my group (usually 8 of us go) will have 2 other
people if the move is made to Boston. That's a 25% increase in
attendance. That is what is going to matter.
