Mac'
I can think of one real good reason why I would HATE to do my work from
a Dell Laptop. In the last couple weeks, I've watched and waited while
3 different salesmen "woke up" their Dell laptops. 3 or 4 times a day,
I sit my PowerBook on the customer's countertop, open the lid, and go
to work. If there was NO OTHER DIFFERENCE, I would choose a Mac laptop
over a Dell ANY DAY! With my old Lombard, it worked the same. I could
be done before the Dell guy got started! And I'd have a lot more
pleasant experience in the doing. I now have a G4-17, and it's SO MUCH
Nicer!

Anyone got a suggestion as to where a PC user could get a good, but
fair
comparison between a PC laptop and a PowerBook? Seen any good
articles on
this topic lately? I've got a friend who is thinking of replacing his
6 yr
old Dell PC laptop with a PowerBook. He's located in the San
Francisco Bay
area and is not a "techie" kind of guy. He's struggling with trying to
compare the specs of the latest Dell laptops with the slightly aging
PowerBook series. Any suggestions?
