The Daily Reflector (
http://www.reflector.com) is a newspaper located in
Greenville, NC (Eastern part of NC, between Raleigh and the coast). The
paper has a job opening that is Macintosh specific. Be advised that this
position is a help-desk type of job, which requires being "on call" 24/7 at

about this job. The description follows:
Cox North Carolina Publications, Inc. and The Daily Reflector has an opening
for a Macintosh Workstation Support Technician. This person will be
responsible for about 200 desktop and server Macintosh computers in
Greenville and at our nine weekly newspaper sites. Candidates should have
experience with Mac OS 8.6 thru OS X and well as with common desktop
publishing software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, InDesign and
Quark.
Candidates should also have excellent trouble-shooting skills, be
able to effectively support users and have the ability to create concise and
clear user documentation. Over the next two years we will be migrating all
our Macintosh workstations to OS X and this person will play an important
part in the planning and implementation of that project. Additional skills
in Windows Support, printer support, FileMaker Pro development, email
administration and AppleScripting would be a benefit. We offer a
comprehensive benefits package which includes short term and long term

Salary range: $25,000-$30,000 depending upon experience.
