Actually, I THINK that you can EITHER have Acrobat automatically gather
up all the pages that link to the first page, down as many levels as
your specify, OR you can manually navigate one at a time and tell
Acrobat to only convert into PDF the specific pages you want. I am not
certain whether the links will still work if you do that, but you might
want to experiment with it if the situation ever really arises.
I used to work for General Motors, and I tried out the automatic thing
on a section of our Intranet, without really thinking how many pages
might be just 3 levels down. I think I gave up at about 600 pages
converted as I was beginning to worry that I was going to fill up the
hard drive on the computer I was using!
