Funny... I just ran across a copy of our SMUG NEWSLETTER
I published at the end of May, 1986, Vol. 2, #5 ...
The theme was "Desktop Publishing Guide" PageMaker, ReadySetGo,
MacDraw and the introduction of the LaserWriter. It was this
month I introduced the first two-disk set of publishing templates
called "Poor Mans Publisher" with layouts for the above programs.
Two 400K discs that is. Where would that get you today?
News from Cupertino was :
"Fifty-nine computer systems granted to nonprofit groups"
... Apple valued the computer systems "gift" at $250,000.
That's $4,237.00 per system, MacPlus' ... how many would
a quarter million buy today?
My how time goes by.
:-)
