1 - The MUG Event Calendar for May 7: Bob LeVitus and Tropical Software
MUG Tours, Adobe, RadTech and a Very Busy Week

and-tropical-software-mug-tours-adobe-radtech-and-a-very-busy-week/>
The busiest week of the May MUG Event Calendar features two MUG tours
and plenty of important and interesting meeting topics.
Bob "Dr. Mac" LeVitus will be on his annual Mid-Atlantic MUG Tour this
week, presenting to a group in New Jersey and two groups in
Pennsylvania, and meeting with Mac users at other special, related
events. Speaking of tours, James Lee of Tropical Software will be doing
a mini-tour of some New York and New Jersey MUGs while Terry White and
Dave Hemly will tag-team a group in New York to show off the new Adobe
Creative Suite 3. Adobe will also present CS3 to groups in Texas and
California and RadTech will be talking about the proper care of your Mac
laptop at a Missouri group. (more)

A couple weeks ago we updated you on the evolution of Christopher
Breen's Breen's Bungalow into the Macworld Video podcast. Chris and
Macworld asked us to remind you that the newest edition is available
now. If you liked Breen's Bungalow, you'll love the latest edition to
the Macworld stable of Mac industry coverage. (more)
3 - Latest Take Control eBook Focuses on Doing More With Your iPod
<http://www.mugcenter.com/latest-take-control-ebook-focuses-on-doing-
more-with-your-ipod/>
The TidBITS User Group Program has been updated with the newest offering
from author Steve Sande, Take Control of Your iPod: Beyond the Music.

4 - Take Your Group to 2.0: Easily Survey Your Group
<http://www.mugcenter.com/take-your-group-to-20-easily-survey-your-group/>
Gathering feedback from your members should be at least an annual
activity. You will stay in closer touch with what their interests are,
understand the general levels of expertise, and will be able to make
your group's meeting topics, web site, publication(s) and any other
offerings a greater value. That translates into better membership
retention and more benefits to attract new members. (more)
