This should get rid of the U3 area and allow all space to be available, keeping in mind that since SanDisk (and the rest of the industry) uses decimal to describe 2GB, while the OS uses binary, there will never be a full 2GB shown by Mac OS.
Actually Flash Drives use real memory for storage and report their size in binary format rather than the hard drive industries practice of using decimal. A 2GB flash drive actually should report 2147483648 bytes of space (2.15GB in decimal).
