I doubt their Apple Ambassador will be enthusiastic about either jumping through hoops or taking tests on sales terms -- a good way to keep the number of free subscriptions low :D Like all board members, he already devotes a lot of time to the club, so my guess is the members will pay for a MobileMe subscription out of the treasury. Even without Groups, it's probably still worth it to them for the Gallery, iDisk and website.
