I'm not Steve Jobs.
I just got back from a well paying gig. I mean they made my monthly nut in four days work. I re-networked a dozen beige G3's in a local boutique (as in small) advertising company. Only two Macs had Mac OS X (10.2). The others had OS 9. They fellow that hired me is a long time member of my online UG - ACPB. He likes what he gets from it for his MacBook, and how I am available to offer assistance and suggestions on avoiding the thousands he'd need to spend to upgrade his office computers. He likes to say, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." Buy, yeah, he knows that day is fast approaching.
The last resource disk I acquired was the "Kitchen Sink CD" from the AppleCore of Memphis featuring Mac OS 9 and X goodies. It's a very valuable item.
As for supporting "dead" OS', my personal preferences lie between nostalgia and disdain, but I figure I'll judge not least I be judged.
My DELETE key works fine. I hope yours does, too. For me, if the subject matter of any posting is out of my interest, I use that key.
Post what you want. Small pebbles in a still pond send ripples in places you'd never expect, don't you know?
Anyway, that's my 2ยข worth. Please don't hate me.
Gary Kampel
