We made arrangements with our local university to use one of their facilities. Before this, we had a similar arrangement with a local community college. Before that - we met in a meeting room at a local 'trendy' restaurant. There was a cost of $3 per person then - but they got soft-drinks, coffee, etc with that - and could purchase additional food items.
