I can tell you definitively that this is not a cost effective way for a MUG
to get members.
My group contacted MacWorld about a regional subscriber list about 4 years
ago. They quoted at least $1000, if I remember right.
We got in touch with MacLife (nee MacAddict) and they were much less money.
I think we spent $350 with them.
Result?
I think maybe ONE new member.

Every time I post a message to this list I'm going to post a request for
REPLY TO to be changed to email@hidden. That's how mailing lists
should work for the benefit of group discussion.
