Hello fellow MUG Leaders,
I want to SECOND Nicholas's praises to the UGAB team for all their hard work and dedication.
As in all things we seem to do for our clubs they are all volunteers and work tirelessly in the background working to help us look good
Thanks to all and I want to give a special shout out to Tom Piper for working with all those vendors to provide us with discounts.
At NCMUG we make a point of promoting "your membership pays for itself". And one of the great benefits to membership is access vendor discounts. The top winners I have heard about are:
1Password, MacLife, Macworld Magazine and O'Rielly Media
So if you are your MUGs Ambassador, please be sure to pass the discounts on. Heck I don't use them all but it's not up to me to decide what is considered a good value to folks
Keep up the good work team.

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank the User Group Advisory Board over at the AppleUserGroupResources.com website for all the great deals they have been organising for User Group Leaders over the last couple of months.
For those who haven't seen the offers, they can still be found at http://appleusergroupresources.com/?cat=9
The passwords to access the posts that contain the full details on how to claim these offers can be found in recent issues of the Apple User Group Bulletin.
Some of the recent offers include; - The Fadigear Audioglove: Demonstration Offer - Office 2011 MUG Meeting-in-a-Box: Presenter Offer - Mac Video Training: 12 Free Library Passes - Free Review Version of abcNotes
These Offers may provide raffle prizes for you to giveaway at your meetings, or review copies of software or hardware that can be demonstrated at User Group meetings and reviewed for User Groups websites and newsletters.
So, again thanks to the UGAB for arranging these offers... and I hope other User Group Leaders have been taking advantage of these offers and thanking the actual vendors when applying for the offers
