Googmeister,
Hi. What's the best way to automatically print a bunch of Powerpoint
and Keynote presentations to pdf? I'd like to be able to use a
predefined printer preset (e.g., to print 4 slides per page).
Microsoft Office 2008 includes Automator actions for saving and
converting PowerPoint presentations to PDF format, and for printing a
PowerPoint presentation. None of these actions, however, will allow
you to specify a number of slides per page.
There is a Keynote action for "Print Keynote Presentation" but this
doesn't seem to let me print to pdf or to changing the printer
presets.
If you install Adobe Acrobat, you can configure an Adobe PDF printer.
This can then be specified as your printer in the action, and you'll
be able to print to PDF.
Hope this helps.
