Hi
I`m trying to automate the insertion of photos and videos in the Mac,
in the following way:
My photo camera makes videos in MPEG format. I have to convert them to
mpeg4 or other for it to be editable and to be imported to imovie.
i`m using MPEG Streamcplip to convert, or QTpro. The Streamclip has an
useful feature of batch conversion. To convert a gsoup of files, you
have to go to the List menu, click in Batch List, then Add, and so on,
and i don`t se a way to automate it. I tried in a workflow to open
finder items and then open the software, but it didn`t work.
I tried to use Watch me do, but i had to specify the exact files as
part of the sequence, so i could`nt use it in a more general fashion.
Help is welcome.
Regards
João

I am trying to create a print workflow to "Save PDF to Recipe
Folder". This workflow will be used when I find a recipe on a
webpage, and want to save the recipe by printing it as a PDF and
storing it to a Recipe folder. I can get it to save the PDF just
fine, but the name of the file is the URL address. Is there any
action I can add to the workflow that will allow me to name the
file during the workflow? Thanks for any help.
Yes, add the "Rename Finder Items" action to your workflow and
configure it to "Name Single Item". Then, under the "Options" area,
set the action to show when the workflow runs.
