Emery,
You can prompt the user to choose a folder when the workflow is run using the Ask for Finder Items action. Set its Type to Folders.

I can move the file from the folder it resides in to a main folder on the server, but I want an automator workflow that will allow me to move the file from the folder to another folder. How can you make automator "ask" you to select a folder? Thanks for you help on this, I really like playing with automator!
