Thanks for offering all of this information, Russ; you
seem to know a lot about CromaPro XP. Perhaps you can
also tell me if it's a good product and how it
compares to Best's product.
I'm curious to know exactly who the sources are to
whom you referred in your post. It seems to me that
CromaPro's lack of attention in forums is a result of
few people using it, not because "DuPont tries not to
use these forums as a sales and marketing tools..."

The CromaPro XP RIP is NOT the repackaged Best RIP.
The CromaPro XP RIP is NOT for sale on ebay. (Pitman
has an exclusive)
It IS an Adobe PS3 RIP with DuPont's color management
embedded. It IS ICC compliant. You can export and
import your own ICC's. It IS recommended, but not
required, that you use DuPont CromaPro media. You get
to decide if a high quality, consistent media, with
DuPont profiles meets YOUR needs.
You won't find many mentions of CromaPro on most
forums. Sources say that DuPont tries not to use
these forums as a sales and marketing tools, but only
to listen to the market, and prevent product and
technology misconceptions.
