Hello,
The Epson rip is fairly easy to set up and use, gives reasonable proofs
out of the box. You can use your own press profiles as reference, and
assign printer profiles you created with Profilemaker eg. to a
"reserved paper stock-1_720x720".
Most inkjet rips have some sort of linearization and per channel ink
limiting function, before they let you create your profile, but this
one hasn't, so don't create your profiles at 400 % ink. Looking at the
(deeply buried) profiles, they've been made with Profilemaker.
Best wishes,
Yann
